CreepyMouse is a renowned Taiwanese graffiti artist. Creepy’s style melds his subversive street art roots with his studies into Gothic Calligraphy. He calls his own art sub-genre “Calligraffitti.”
Creepy’s a fixie rider, blasting his way around Taiwan or escaping the streets to practice some trick riding. For Creepy; “Riding a bike makes me feel free. That’s why I wanted to design this apparel.” The inspiration for his design came from that sensation.
“I call the pattern FEATHERS. The strokes look like feathers flying across the sky. That’s how it feels when you ride a bike.”
His works have been displayed all over the world and many pieces sit in galleries, but it’s his incredible outdoor murals that first caught our attention. They’re an ecclectic mix of geometric shapes, his own Calligraffiti patterns, and inspiration from nature. We can’t resist street art. It’s the perfect backdrop to urban cycling.
We’ll be releasing 2 full kits in white and black with Creepy’s design in the coming weeks. It’ll include jersey, bib shorts, podium cap, and 2 pairs of socks. It’ll be packaged up in deluxe boxes with Creepy’s pattern all over it.
We couldn’t resist using our top-shelf Core 1 jersey. Creepy’s worth it, and so are you!
It’s our high-performance hitter with Coldblack fabric, a smooth YKK zipper, silicon gripper, and 3 standard pockets in the back. The fabric is crazy breathable and silky smooth on your skin while keeping out nasty UV rays thanks to UPF 30 protection.
We’ve pulled our everyday hero Core 2 bib shorts out to print Creepy’s designs on. They’re stacked with comfortable touches so you can spend as many hours as you want in the saddle showing off your splendid new threads. We thought about using our Core 1 bib shorts, but decided they’re overkill. You don’t want to move too fast for people to see what a rolling art work you are.
The Core 2s are rocking a silicon inject gripper, svelte Power Net brace, 225 GSM fabric in the shorts and the Endurance 2.5 chamois that’s designed for up to, and over, 7 hours in the saddle. That should give you ample opporunity to show your bling kit off.
